Topic: Pirates and Conquistadors

Summary: You are a Conquistador settling island for your king. Your mission is to take control over all the islands and defeat anyone who stands in your way. 

What went good: I am amazed to say that I was able to complete for the most part this prototype. The idea was to have ships, tribes living on the islands, pirates chasing you. After some cutting we have: territorial acquisition mechanics  - which I am pretty pleased with, ship controls.

What went bad: Pirate ships and sea battles are just terrible but I am still happy that I was able to figure something out in a matter of an hour before I had to go to work. There is too little instructions on what to do in the game - UI is poor.  I could have done more but some days I had just went straight to bed when I could have pulled few more hours. 

Conclusion: I am pretty proud of myself.  Not because the game is anything like I wanted it to be, but because this not being a game jam or any public event I was still able to motivate myself to create something by setting constraints and a deadline (and working every day whenever I could).
